Laser Engineer

Job Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the design and development of pulsed solid-state lasers, especially diode-pumped Nd:YAG lasers;

2. Responsible for the design, calculation and device selection of laser Q-switching scheme and amplification scheme;

3. Responsible for completing the experimental verification of the laser on the optical platform;

4. Participate in and guide mechanical design and circuit designers to complete supporting machinery and circuit design;

5. Participate in the design and debugging of lasers;

6. Responsible for the formulation and training of process documents for lasers from R&D to small-scale production;

7. Main laser design index: 1mJ~1000mJ, 500ps~20ns, 20Hz~1000Hz, 1064nm / 532nm;

8. Mainly used in the medical field, so the pursuit of high energy, flat top distribution, laser scheme is simple and reliable.


Qualifications

Ph.D. or master's degree students majoring in laser or optics are required to have more than 2 years of experience in solid-state laser projects;

Have certain theoretical design ability of solid-state laser, and be familiar with the structure of general solid-state laser resonator;

Hands-on experience with diode-pumped Nd:YAG lasers or lamp-pumped Nd:YAG lasers;

Familiar with the principle and technology of Nd:YAG laser of electro-optical Q-switched and passive Q-switching, and familiar with the design of MOPA amplification structure;

Familiar with basic measurement techniques such as laser beam quality, divergence angle, beam distribution, pulse duration, frequency, etc.;

Knowledge of laser-related machinery and electronic control.
